Wondermama @ Bangsar Village I

Been wanting to go to Wondermama @ Bangsar Village I a while back with my university friends but we ended up elsewhere at BV I.

This time, decided to tag along my Mum and Bro for lunch at Wondermama. I am not a Bangsar boy so I wasn't familiar with the location. So the restaurant overlooks the main road (Chawan to be exact) and adjacent to Plan B. If you can find Plan B from the main entrance, you will not miss Wondermama's blue logo.

We were greeted by Wondermama's friendly staff  and I was immediately attracted to its homey ambience. Cozy, yet not pretentious.

I also like the old school feel, and the display of items remind you of the yesteryears like the grill on the wall and the old school thermos on display.

 What we had:

Coffee served in a very unique old mug.

Teh O Ais served in a "WM" mug.

Special Seafood Maggi Mee Goreng

Beef Burger. Interesting - it was served with Jambu. The bun was a big hangus, but in a good way! It's nice and crunchy and blended well with the beef patty and tartar sauce.

As for desserts...

Red velvet cake

MW Chocolate Ice cream with beef bacon. What ice-cream with beef bacon? Yep, that's right. A rather weird combo but everything blended well. Chewy and just nice.

The staff at Wondermama are attentive and friendly - so that's good.
