Tea time at Chaiwalla & Co

What do you get when you stack two containers on top of one another? Well, Chaiwalla and Co, of course!

It's already a hit in Johor and many may already be familiar with its concept there.

It also has an outlet at Sunway and just late last year, they've opened up an outlet at The Curve (how convenient!).

If Starbucks and Coffee Bean are synonymous with coffee, than for the tea lovers out there, this is the place for you.

After all, 'Chaiwalla' means tea boy in Hindi and you can expect a variety of tea.

Okay, I have to admit that when I was at the counter, I didn't know what or how to order. Everything is just so confusing and the staff kinda knew that.

"Is this your first time here," he asked. *Thank god he was kind enough to explain to me about its menu without making me look like bimbo-ish. *

So I was told that their signature drinks are Vietnamese coffee, Taiwanese black tea and Thai milk tea.

So I ordered the Original Thai Milk Tea. (The left drink in the pic.)

'Fancy place,' I thought to myself but do they have something basic?

"Do you have like Iced Lemon tea," I asked the guy cuz my mum wanted something simple and she wasn't too adventurous.

Apart from the signature drinks, you can create your own drinks by ordering the base (e.g. Tea), the Flavour (e.g. Lemon), Toppings (e.g. Pearls), and Sweetness.

As for desserts, there's the cake of the month or the good old Brownies (Ice-Cream and Salted Caramel optional).

I just wish they had more tables though as I had to loiter around The Curve and Tesco before getting a table at Chaiwalla.

A great experience and definitely coming back for more tea.
