There are days when I crave for my Indonesian food, like Ayam Peyet and Gado gado.
I do not know about you, but I often visit The Curve but since I visit certain areas of the mall, I've missed this Indonesian restaurant called Warung Leko.
Maybe you are more familiar with Waroeng Penyet at The Curve (I know I am!!), but Warung Leko is worth the visit too.
Warung Leko originated from Surabaya in 2007 and have grown to a franchise of 60 outlets all over Indonesia.
Warung Leko specialises in Beef Ribs (Iga penyet), served with its signature sambal. And since it is their speciality, I decided to give it a try!
You know what? The Iga penyet (RM14.50) is really nice. The meat is so tender it falls off the bone. Downside? There's also 4 pieces. I want more!!
Oh, if you come on weekdays (Mon-Fri, 12pm-3pm), the Iga Penyet set is priced at RM15, served with rice, and a soft drink.

Some add-ons like tahu and tempe.
I enjoyed the food. Another thing that I like about Warung Leko is that the sambal comes in three varieties. I do not eat really spicy food and I went for Mild. Thinking that it was still going to be really spicy, I'm glad that their Mild sambal lives up to its name: not too spicy, just right.
If only they have gado-gado and/or satay. I prefer that as side dishes as compared to soups or other appetizers.
